Team Poker Cup
In partnership with PokerStars.fr, Cercle Gaillon is running the Team Poker Cup event on Saturday, March 12 in Paris, with a total guaranteed prize pool worth €100,000. At the end of the live tournament, which gathers together the cream of the French poker scene, the best French pro poker team will be awarded the first-ever Team Poker Cup trophy.
All teams taking part will be made of three players: a professional poker player, and two amateurs. Three live Sit & Gos will run simultaneously. The starting stack will be 10,000 chips, and the rounds will be 30 minutes each.
The winning team will be awarded the cup with their names engraved, and keep it all year long until next year's event in 2012. Individual performances will also be rewarded, and the winner of each tournament will receive a medal.
The total prize-pool is worth €100,000 and will be divided as follows:
- €33,900 for the player leader board and
- €66,100 for the team leader board.
The buy-in for this live team event is €5,000 + 300, and includes the invitation for the two non-professional poker players who qualified online on PokerStars.fr. They will be staying at the California Hotel on March 12. The Team Poker Cup package is worth €2,000 , and includes the €1,767 buy-in, hotel room and €233 for travel expenses.

From February 16-March 2, qualify online on PokerStars.fr with our Step System and the Team Poker Cup satellites.
