Road to 2 Billion Poker Hands - Milestone Hand Examples
Players dealt into a milestone hand will win a cash prize of €10 for every VIP Player Point (VPP) they have earned in the last 49 hands played on that cash game table, added to the Milestone Hand itself. All players dealt in will also receive a base prize of €20, and any player that wins a portion of the main pot will get their prize doubled!
How to Earn Money with Milestone Hands:
To win a cash prize as part of the Road to 2 Billion promotion, you’ll need to meet the following criteria:
- Dealt into Milestone Hand:
(# of VPPs in last 50 hands x €10) + €20 = Cash Prize
- Win Milestone Hand:
(# of VPPs in last 50 hands x €10 + €20) x 2 = Cash Prize
You play for half an hour on a €1/€2 NLHE table. You play 53 hands in this time and are then dealt into a milestone hand. Everybody at the table goes all-in, but your hand does not win the pot. The system will look at the most recent 50 hands that you've played at that table and calculate the number of VPPs earned. In this instance, you earned 31 VPPs, so the prize will be: (31 x €10) + €20 = €330. If you had won the hand, your prize would have been doubled to €660.
To help spot when the next milestone hand might be dealt, and how much you could win based on how many VPPs you’ve accumulated, look at the special counters on each cash table you’re playing on during the promotion.
Mega Milestone Hand
When the big 2 Billion Mega Milestone Hand is reached, all players dealt in will be rewarded €150 for every VPP earned in the previous 49 hands added to the Mega Milestone Hand itself (calculated the same way as above, but this time with a base prize of €1,000 for all players dealt in). The winner of the Mega Milestone will also have their prize money doubled!
How to Earn Money with the Mega Milestone Hand:
- Dealt into Mega Milestone:
(# of VPPs in last 50 hands x €150) + €1,000 = Cash Prize
- Win Mega Milestone:
(# of VPPs in last 50 hands x €150 + €1,000) x 2 = Cash Prize
In the event of a split pot (either from a tied hand or from a split pot game) all players that took a portion of the main pot will have their prize money doubled.
You play 50 hands and earn 190 VPPs when the Mega Milestone hand hits on your table. You win the Mega Milestone hand and earn a further 10 VPPs in the process. You will receive (200 x €150) + €1,000 = €31,000 as your basic prize, which is then doubled to €62,000 for winning the hand.
You play 26 hands and earn 17 VPPs up to and including the Mega Milestone hand, in which you split the pot with another player. You will receive (17 x €150) + €1,000 = €3,350 as your basic prize, which is then doubled to €7,100 due to you winning a portion of the main pot.
